The Center of Excellence for Medical Genomics expanded its high-performance computing cluster with nine Lenovo ThinkSystem SR950 V3 servers powered by 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. The solution increased CPU capacity by 265% to 3,856 cores, memory by 242% to 29 TB and parallel storage capacity by 688% to 10.4 PiB. Researchers can now process more genomic datasets faster, supporting disease screening, accurate diagnosis and precision medicine.
