Accelerating ambitious research with Lenovo high-performance computing

Newcastle University and Lenovo 360 Circle partner OCF deployed the Comet high-performance computing cluster, built on Lenovo ThinkSystem SR675 V3 and SR665 V3 servers with ThinkSystem DE4000F all-flash storage. The new infrastructure has almost tripled CPU capacity and increased GPU provision ninefold, enabling researchers to analyse larger datasets, run more complex models and simulations, and generate results faster across AI, machine learning and scientific research.
